I have decided that this will be the last post on my blog, I think I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve and I really don't think there is anything else I can add at this present time in my life. I would like to sincerely thank all who have supported me and made comments on my blog and I would also like to wish all my fellow self harmers all the best in the continuing struggle to overcome.
All that is left to say is goodbye and good luck.

Yes, It is perhaps time to move on John?. This has been your special "safe" space where you coulld write down your thoughts and where you got support most of the time.
You will always get help if you seek it... There has been help and support here for you from a dedicated group of people who have had your emotional health in mind. We still are here for you 24/7 ....at the other end of the telephone.
You are such a great guy. I have watched over you on this blog for a long time now making sure "things" were going ok. Like many others I did not always leave a comment.
John, life is short and your home problems are just a "moment" in time. A long one I hear you say perhaps? You may not see this now, however I can tell you that the anger you have from time to time will pass and some day you will regret it and all the things you have said.
Appreciate that you have a caring Mother who looked afetr your needs for a long long time and is still living with you. This will not always been the case.
I have told you many times that you need to see that the bottle is always half full. Enjoy your moments with her now as they are very precious. Moments like these may not always be there.
John I wish you a great life ahead, don't look back, embrace the present and look forward to happier times in the future. With warmest memories......enjoy!

I know it sounds daft but knowing you're in Dublin is for me, the most comforting thing of all. I'm in Belfast and was always under the impression that no one else did the same strange things as me. But they do obviously, and close to home. I found your blog tonight, and it's the most amazing thing I have found about self harm since I unfortunatelty discovered it(and that's been 10 years). Thanks for your honesty, you brought a lot of comfort to me.
